This will be the final opportunity to meet eligibility requirements through the practice pathway of the grandfathering period. Registration is now open and closes February 15, 2012.

American Board of Internal Medicine
Registration opens March 1 and closes May 1, 2012. Late registration closes June 1, 2012.

American Board of Emergency Medicine
Registration opens March 1 and closes June 1, 2012.

American Board of Pediatrics
Registration opens February 1 and closes April 2, 2012. Late registration closes April 30, 2012.

American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Registration is now open and closes February 15, 2012. Late registration closes March 1, 2012.

American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Registration opens January 1 and closes April 1, 2012. Late registration closes May 1, 2012.

American Board of Radiology
Registration opens February 1 and closes April 30, 2012. Late registration closes May 31, 2012.

American Board of Surgery
Registration opens in spring 2012 and closes May 1, 2012. Late registration closes June 1, 2012.

At press time, the American Boards of Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology had not posted registration dates.

American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
The final AOA Certification of Added Qualifications Examination in hospice and palliative medicine will take place in fall 2013.
