DAVID E. SINGLETON BAR NO. 7-5372 LAW SCHOOL: UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING COLLEGE OF LAW Basic Bio: I grew up in Cheyenne and graduated from East High (go T-Birds!) in 2003. After high school, I attended WyoTech and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. I then went to U.W. in the fall of 2006, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. I took a year off after graduation to work on political campaigns throughout the state, after which I attended the University of Wyoming College of Law. One of the highlights of law school was getting the opportunity to be the Student Director of the Prosecution Assistance Program. As the director, I argued two cases before the Wyoming Supreme Court. I am now married to my law school sweetheart, Kellsie Singleton. We have two amazing boys, Dominick (14), and Ayden (11), and we are expecting our third in April 2018! I recently started my own practice, Singleton Law Offices, LLC., where I help clients in the following areas: general civil litigation, family law, estate planning, and criminal law. I can be reached at: (307) 222-8073 or email@example.com. Before law school, I was an automotive technician, line cook and political hack. I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people through the craziest times in their lives. That is the most rewarding part of my job. As a lawyer I am known for keeping calm in crisis situations. My clients most often say they appreciate the fact that they can call me at any time, including after five and on weekends (despite my wife’s protests). My best advice for new lawyers is don’t become complacent, always keep learning, always stay hungry. I started my own practice because I wanted more flexibility in my schedule and so I could spend more time with my kids while they are young. During my free time, I like to spend time with my family, ride bikes with my kiddos, go running, and spend time at the comic book and game store I own with my buddies. Yes, it’s true, I own a share of Olympus Games and Comics. Come down and check us out. If I took one day off mid-week, I would ask my wife to take the day off also. It doesn’t matter what we do, as long as we can do it together. I recently tried indoor skydiving with my boys—it was a blast! I highly recommend it. My all-time favorite movie series is Star Wars (nerd-status!). If $1 million fell into my lap, I would definitely still work, but probably not as hard! If I could have tried one famous case, it would be the Casey Anthony case. I watched that trial prior to law school and I was riveted.
