American Board of Internal Medicine Registration opens March 1 and closes May 1, 2012. Late registration closes June 1, 2012. American Board of Emergency Medicine Registration opens March 1 and closes June 1, 2012. American Board of Pediatrics Registration opens February 1 and closes April 2, 2012. American Osteopathic Association (AOA) The final Certification of Added Qualifications Examina-tion in hospice and palliative medicine offered by the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists will take place in fall 2013. Candidates who have obtained general cer-tification from any of the primary boards and who meet the eligibility requirements established by the AOA will be allowed to sit for the exam until 2013. After that time only candidates from the four cosponsoring boards of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology and Psy-chiatry, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will be allowed to sit for the examination.
